NASCAR Heat 5 has everyone pissed, and I do mean everyone. Well maybe not everyone.

Perusing the latest Steam releases I discovered that by far the most hated release of this week is a DLC release. NASCAR Heat 5, developed by 704Games Company, released a Season 2022 update pack for $9.99 USD and pretty much everyone hates it. The DLC has a 15% positive score of 100 reviewers and people absolutely hate it.

So what’s the problem? Well it looks like the 2022 Season pack basically broke the game completely. Not only does the DLC itself not work, according to reviews it actually broke the other DLC they had paid for.

DLC says its installed but i cant play the 2022 season or play any of the gen 7 cars paid 10 dollars just for all my other dlc to break and not get what i bought. huge disappointment. goes to show motorsport games should not be allowed to make games.

Even the few positive reviews were dripping with sarcasm, meaning the DLC pack’s actual score is closer to 0%.

Doesn’t work on steam or console for me. Thanks for stealing $20 from me. Not even 2022 schedule, scammed of my money, no custom cars, an absolute disappoint to NASCAR gaming. Motorsport games needs stripped of their NASCAR license with how bad of a company they have been for NASCAR gaming, this is just sad, hopefully I get a refund.

The developers for their part have confirmed a patch is in the works.
