Story-driven RPG.
The Thaumaturge is set to come out on March 4 and it definitely seems to be one to watch. An isometric RPG featuring turn-base combat, Thaumaturge is being released by developer Fool’s Theory and publisher 11 bit Studios. You may recognize Fool’s Theory as co-developers on Seven: Enhanced Edition. This open-world isometric stealth game released in 2017 and has a 77% mostly positive rating on Steam. Publisher 11 bit studios has put their name behind some powerful titles like Frostpunk and Children of Morta. Did they put their faith in the right developer yet again? We’ll have to see.
Gearing up for launch, the folks at 11 bit studios put together a list of 11 facts about the game. Learn more about the fictional world of 20th century Warsaw and its supernatural inhabitants, as well as your to-be protagonist Wiktor Szulski. You’ll be spending a lot of time with them if you decide to pick this game up this week.
PC players can also pick up The Thaumaturge on GOG if you’d prefer a DRM-free experience, and the game is launching on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles.
