Today’s story is at its core about the launch of Revenge of the Savage Planet, the sequel to 2020’s Journey to the Savage Planet. But instead I’m going to make the topic about Dave the Diver. Because of course Dave the Diver is in this game.

Owners of the Cosmic Hoarder edition can get in the game today (May 5) and on launch day the folks at Raccoon Logic dropped a surprise IP collaboration. Surprising in the sense that you wouldn’t expect to see someone like Dave the Diver in a game that looks like this. Less surprising when you remember that Nexon has been pushing Dave the Diver on pretty much any game that will have him as a collab.

Revenge of the Savage Planet sees the player on a revenge mission (go figure) after being laid off and marooned on a savage planet. Also go figure. There are four planets, all of which are expected to be extremely savage, to travel through this time around. And you’ll get to see Dave the Diver in all his 3D…something.
